What Were Looking For:

• Valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education certification
• IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Previous experience working with students with emotional disabilities, autism, or diverse eligibility factors
• Demonstrated knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs and special services in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements
• Familiarity with at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, and exceptional populations
• Training in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) or willingness to participate in staff development
• Ability to work onsite at assigned schools within a 30-minute commute of designated priority campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support aligned with students unique needs, focusing on life skills, transition, and prosocial development
• Provide diverse support in inclusion, SUCCESS, practical, CBT, and STRIVE classrooms (specializing in functional academics or intensive behavioral supports)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive student progress and implement effective, compliant strategies
• Engage in professional development and adapt to evolving best practices
