Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher dedicated to helping students reach their full potential? We are seeking four qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team at Franklin Learning Center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, for the 20262027 school year.
Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized instructional programs designed to meet the unique needs of students within Autistic Support classrooms. Teachers will work collaboratively with support staff and families to create a positive, structured learning environment that promotes academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Schedule: MondayFriday
Hours: 7:45 AM 3:15 PM
Hours per Week: 37.5
School Assignment: One school location
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and modify lesson plans tailored to student needs.
Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with IEP goals.
Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, PCA staff, administrators, therapists, and families.
Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student success.
Student Population
Students receiving services in Autistic Support classrooms.
All classrooms are staffed with Personal Care Assistant (PCA) support to assist in meeting student needs.
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required.
Special Education certification and experience working with students in Autism Support programs preferred.
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
