Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland secondary Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience or strong interest working with middle school students in a resource room setting
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementing differentiated instructional strategies
- Strong communication skills to foster relationships with students, families, and professional colleagues
- Flexibility, adaptability, and positive attitude
Position Highlights:
- Support a fluid caseload of 10-15 middle school students at one site
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with students IEPs
- Track, assess, and document student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed
