A fulfilling opportunity is open for a Special Education Teacher in the Cascade, Idaho area, working with students who have diverse learning needs. This full-time contract role offers a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, providing consistency along with the chance to make a meaningful impact on students academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Idaho Special Education license
- Experience working with students in special education settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with multiple and/or significant cognitive impairments in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Supervise and guide instructional assistants in implementing IEPs and BSPs
- Ensure consistent application of individualized academic and behavioral strategies across settings
- Monitor and support adherence to student-specific goals, accommodations, and interventions
