You will be working full-time, Monday through Friday, in a communication disorder classroom with a manageable caseload of 10 students. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 certification is required
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly K-4, is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to individualize instruction and support IEP implementation
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized education plans for each student
• Provide specialized instruction focused on communication disorders
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Apply evidence-based strategies to support both academic and social-emotional growth
• Create a classroom culture that promotes inclusion, belonging, and safety
