Openings are available for both elementary and high school settings:

• Two Elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Cognitive Impairment (CI) classrooms
• One High School ASD classroom
• One Resource Room

Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan Teaching License with CI (Cognitive Impairment) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement required
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in ASD, CI, or resource settings is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging learning spaces

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to support students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance records
• Create a positive and supportive classroom culture that promotes academic and social-emotional growth
