Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Special Education teaching license required
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with general education staff, families, and support teams
- Adaptable and creative in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Compassionate, patient, and communicative with a commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to students with a range of learning differences
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials according to individual needs
