A full-time contract opportunity is now available for a passionate Special Education Teacher to work with a first-grade in-class resource room. This position offers the chance to make a real impact from the start of the school year through early November and is conveniently located near Camden, NJ.

Key Qualifications:

• Current or eligibility for NJ special education licensure (preferred)
• Experience teaching or supporting children in special education settings, especially early elementary (first grade)
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to inclusive practices
• Ability to work full-time, assigned to one school site
• Excellent communication and adaptability for diverse classroom needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to first-grade students in an in-class resource room
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet state and district standards
• Participate in parent meetings, progress monitoring, and team planning
• Foster an encouraging learning atmosphere that supports the success of every child
