Make a meaningful impact supporting first graders as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming resource classroom setting near Camden, NJ. This contract role begins August 29th and runs through November 6th, offering the opportunity to work full-time on a single campus, providing focused instruction and support within an in-class resource room for 1st grade students.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid New Jersey special education teaching license strongly preferred
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally in a resource or inclusive classroom
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to work with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to first grade students in a resource room setting
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student success plans
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school district requirements
