Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License required
• Previous experience with K-12 students preferred, but all motivated educators are encouraged to apply
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
• Collaborative spirit to work with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual IEP goals
• Create engaging, inclusive lesson plans that accommodate varying learning styles
• Progress monitor and document student achievement and growth
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment
• Provide advocacy and guidance for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
