Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Special Education teaching credential or license as required by the state
• Demonstrated experience in individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet a variety of learning needs
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with special education populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction in individual and small group settings, focusing on each students unique learning goals
• Develop, monitor, and review IEPs, maintaining compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success across academic and behavioral domains
• Employ positive behavior management strategies and differentiated instruction techniques
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, accommodations, and services provided
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
