Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) licensure for relevant grade levels
- Experience implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff and families
- Compassionate approach and ability to foster a nurturing, structured classroom environment
- Dedication to supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in accordance with IEP goals
- Create a safe and consistent environment tailored to students therapeutic needs
- Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress, document data, and provide regular updates to the team
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student development and milestones
- Employ positive behavior support strategies and restorative practices
