Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Valid Special Education Teaching License
- Recent experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in a school-based setting
- Expertise in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to varied learning needs
- Strong ability to collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for assisting students with diverse abilities
What You'll Do:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a summer school format
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
- Maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on student-centered solutions
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
You'll enjoy a competitive pay rate of $45-$50 per hour while working a convenient schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 12:30 pm.
