Job Description
A Massachusetts Certified Special Education Teacher is needed for an elementary grade level position located in Cambridge, MA, starting ASAP through June 16, 2026. This contract role offers an opportunity to support young learners through a blend of inclusion support and pull-out instruction in a general education setting.
Responsibilities include collaborating with classroom teachers to provide tailored instruction, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering targeted support to students with special needs. The position requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Special Education Certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of inclusion practices and pull-out instruction
- Ability to create and implement effective IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day
- Total 32.5 hours per week, full-time equivalent (FTE)
