Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license with math endorsement
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
- Strong skills in adapting lesson plans to diverse learning needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on math instruction
- Deliver engaging, differentiated math lessons tailored to unique learning styles and abilities
- Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress with families and multidisciplinary teams
