Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license with a math endorsement required
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to address a range of student learning needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized math instruction to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs and educational best practices
- Develop individualized lesson plans and modify curriculum to meet a variety of learning needs
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to design effective interventions
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
