Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license with math endorsement
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
  • Strong skills in adapting lesson plans to diverse learning needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on math instruction
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated math lessons tailored to unique learning styles and abilities
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress with families and multidisciplinary teams
