Hiring now - Special Education Teaching Job Near Calumet City, Illinois
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a Special Education Teacher near Calumet City, IL. This job is a full-time position for the Next school year.
Job details:
- 35 hours/week
- Covering and FMLA (Possible extension but no guarantee
- Middle School Intensive Communications Program
- 9 students - classroom is Autism and Intellectual Disability
- Experience working with students with Autism or more functional programs is preferred
- Students primarily follow a functional and life skills curriculum
- 2 paraprofessionals assigned to classroom
- Students use Unique Learning as a curriculum component and have functional skills tied in (a mini-kitchen, laundry, and multiple field trips in the community)
Job Requirements:
- LBS1
- PEL (Professional Educators License)
