What Youll Bring:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, or High School settings
- Strong understanding of Math instruction and its adaptation for students with varying abilities
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Commitment to collaboration with families, support staff, and fellow educators
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for student growth
What Youll Do:
- Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans for students with disabilities
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support diverse learning styles across multiple grade levels
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records per special education guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusion
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student goals and progress
