Make an impact supporting students growth and well-being as a contract educator serving elementary-age learners in an onsite setting. This rewarding opportunity focuses on providing high-quality physical educationboth general and adaptivehelping all students reach their fullest potential through engaging physical activities. Full-time, onsite position working with K-5th graders.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license or certification in Physical Education and/or Adaptive Physical Education
- Experience with special education and adaptive PE is highly valued
- Able to pass required background check and drug screening
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver adaptive and/or general physical education instruction tailored to individual and group needs
- Create, develop, and modify activities accommodating diverse student abilities
- Strive to promote physical fitness, facilitate motor development, and encourage active participation from every student
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes for each students growth and achievement
