Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Minnesota special education teaching license, Tier 3 or Tier 4 required.
  • Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of current special education best practices and compliance guidelines.
  • Ability to tailor instruction and assessments for various student abilities.
  • Effective communicator, team player, and proactive problem-solver.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student needs.
  • Provide direct instruction, interventions, and accommodations for students with a range of disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive student support.
  • Maintain clear, ongoing documentation and communicate student progress regularly.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects each students unique abilities and encourages growth.
