Multiple positions are available, ranging from autism specialists to those experienced in Early Childhood Special Education, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, and homebound support. Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
- Background in one or more of the following: autism spectrum disorders, developmental cognitive disabilities, or early childhood special education
- Experience with caseloads varying from small groups (4-8 students) to larger groups (up to 19 students)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered educational support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and individualized support to students on assigned caseloads, across various settings
- Support each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families and school staff, to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with district and state guidelines
- Provide homebound services as assigned, ensuring continuity of education
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs
