Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher License
• Demonstrated experience or training in Special Education in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach with students
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Comfortable working full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Assess student abilities and craft measurable IEP goals in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
• Work closely with general education staff, families, and specialists to ensure cohesive support
• Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance student learning and behavior management
• Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Support students academic, emotional, and social development in a safe, encouraging environment
