Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (appropriate grade level).
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; Masters preferred.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Proficient in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for helping students reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to student IEPs.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
• Modify teaching materials and methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators.
• Encourage a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Engage regularly with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and challenges.
• Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
