Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Burbank, IL. This in-person role focuses on providing exceptional education services to students in grades 2 through 5, with a caseload tailored to their individual learning needs. Candidates must hold a valid LBS1 license to qualify for this contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades 2-5
- Provide tailored instructional support to students with special education needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each students development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth
Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 Special Education teaching license
- Experience working with students in grades 2 through 5 preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment
Location: Burbank, Illinois
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
