What Were Looking For:

• Valid Georgia Special Education licensure for high school grades
• Experience or strong interest in working with high school-aged students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities
• Comfortable with job duties that include physical aspects to support students unique needs
• Ability to collaborate with a team; district-provided supervision (Paras, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs) available
• Commitment to individualized instruction and student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Engage students with creative, inclusive learning strategies
• Provide hands-on support while maintaining a safe, compassionate classroom
• Coordinate with fellow educators, support staff, and families
• Track and document student progress in alignment with goals
• Uphold compliance with district procedures, including required fingerprints and onboarding prior to your start
