Qualifications/Required Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Education.
• Valid New York State teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Certification in Special Education (2nd grade or all grades).
• Meets all district and state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Serve onsite as a Special Education Teacher in a travel capacity.
• Support a single 2nd grade student in a 1:1 setting.
• Work Monday through Friday, with the choice of either 3 hours per day or full 7.5-hour days.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized education plans.
• Foster academic and social development in line with best educational practices.
