Required Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
  • Experience working in high-needs or self-contained classroom settings
  • AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) experience required
  • Experience implementing physical intervention strategies
  • Strong classroom management and behavior support skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting students with complex communication and behavioral needs
  • Knowledge of special education compliance and IEP development
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
