Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students at a middle school near Broomfield, CO. This full-time, contract opportunity extends through May 2027 and offers a highly collaborative environment with comprehensive resources. You will lead a classroom with a manageable caseload and the dedicated support of paraeducators and professional specialists, allowing you to truly focus on each student's growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year classroom experience required
• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Special Education, or actively obtaining (must be provided with application)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a flexible, positive team player
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to student success

Role Details:

• Oversee a classroom of approximately 10 students, supported by peer mentors and 2 full-time paraeducators
• Collaborate closely with a team including BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychologist/social worker support
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment encouraging academic and social growth
• Work onsite during standard school hours (37.5 per week, with 35 hours paid and 2.5 hours unpaid for lunch breaks)
