Job Description

Located near Brighton, CO, this position runs from August 20, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with a consistent 34-hour workweek, Tuesday through Friday (no school on Mondays). School days are scheduled from 7:30am to 4:30pm, allowing for long weekends and a predictable schedule throughout the academic year.

In this onsite role, you'll work directly with a mild to moderate caseload, providing personalized instruction and collaborating with a dedicated educational team to deliver effective learning strategies and support plans.

Qualifications/Experience Sought:

  • Active Colorado CDE SPED licensure required
  • Previous teaching experience with mild to moderate special needs populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver culturally responsive, differentiated instruction tailored to each learner's needs
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families
  • Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Adapt classroom strategies to support student engagement and success
  • Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
