Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working with students with a range of disabilities (mild to moderate and/or severe)
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to differentiate instruction and utilize various strategies to address learning needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, individualized lessons based on each student's IEP goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, support staff, and specialists
• Develop, implement, and track IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student goals and achievements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all regulations
