Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students who have a range of learning, emotional, or physical disabilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update IEPs tailored to each students requirements
• Deliver engaging instruction individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Track and document student progress, adapting plans as needed
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school-wide activities to support student achievement
