Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and adaptive teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, tailor, and execute lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students with disabilities
  • Participate in the development, review, and revision of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that empowers students to thrive academically and socially
  • Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate records and stay up-to-date with required documentation and reporting

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
