A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher eager to make an impact with elementary learners. This role supports students in a resource setting classroom, working within a collaborative team to create positive learning outcomes for grades 1-4. The position offers a full-time scheduleapproximately 35 to 37.5 hours per weekbeginning in late August and extending through mid-June, with possible additional days for planning as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher with 1st-4th grade students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and accommodations
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload of 15-20 students
• Collaborative mindset to work alongside other case managers, behavior analysts, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction (pull-out and push-in) for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and paraeducators to support student progress
• Manage IEPs, assessments, and progress monitoring for assigned students
• Communicate regularly with families to share progress and strategies
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development
