Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate for MA)
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varying learning needs
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate effectively with general education staff, aides, and related service providers
• Assess student progress, document observations, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
