Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education license required
  • Previous experience teaching special education students preferred
  • Comfortable with diverse caseloads, K-12
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adaptable and committed to creating positive classroom environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to a range of learning needs
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals and documentation
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families
  • Utilize varied instructional strategies to engage and support student learning
  • Track and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
