Special Education Teachers are sought for contract roles in Massachusetts, offering the chance to work with students across a range of grade levels from kindergarten through high school. Qualifications:

• Current and valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license is required
• Experience working with K12 students preferred
• Adaptable to a variety of classroom settings, including resource, inclusion, and self-contained classrooms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to each students IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school staff and families
• Modify curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning materials to address individual student needs
• Employ positive behavioral interventions and supports within a safe, supportive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional collaboration
