Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous classroom experience or practicum in special education environments

- Positive, proactive approach to classroom management
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students

- Track student progress and modify instruction as needed
- Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Maintain clear, thorough records and participate in team meetings
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and assistive technologies
