Key Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education License required
• Experience with K-12 special education caseloads, preferably across multiple classroom environments
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to creating positive, supportive learning environments that promote student growth

Location:

• Boston, Massachusetts (contract position)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities within inclusive or specialized classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet evolving needs
• Maintain detailed records and participate in team meetings and parent conferences
