Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in a K-12 setting, preferably with students who have varying abilities
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with general educators, specialists, and families
• Commitment to inclusive practices and fostering a supportive classroom culture
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) according to student needs
• Adapting curriculum materials and instructional techniques to ensure access for all learners
• Conducting ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to refine instructional strategies
• Managing classroom routines and behavior proactively, reinforcing positive behaviors
• Maintaining detailed records and preparing necessary reports in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Working closely with support staff and related service providers to coordinate comprehensive services
• Actively participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
