Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs
- In-depth understanding of a variety of learning disabilities and effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills for working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials for diverse learners
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs tailored to students academic, emotional, and social requirements
- Utilize evidence-based instructional techniques to promote student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers and ancillary professionals to foster inclusive learning environments
- Assess student growth and maintain accurate, detailed records of progress
- Actively engage with parents and caregivers through regular updates and meetings
- Provide a supportive classroom atmosphere that prioritizes student well-being and success
