Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teaching license
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
• Experience adapting curriculum and instructional strategies for various learning styles and abilities
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and create an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on students unique educational needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Regularly assess and monitor students progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and encouraging growth
• Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support students academic and social development
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
