Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse learning abilities
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability and creativity in delivering personalized instruction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to students with varying needs in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize learning outcomes
  • Engage with parents and guardians to communicate progress, strategies, and areas for growth
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment that promotes independence

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
