Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current teaching license/certification in Special Education
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences
- Strong knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet varying needs
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for supporting diverse learners
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction to students in resource or inclusive settings
- Modify curriculum and educational materials as needed
- Conduct assessments and track student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
