Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) Teaching Licensure appropriate for the assigned grade level
- Experience or strong interest in working within ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) classroom settings preferred
- Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting diverse learning needs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to pre-K students in an ABA-focused classroom
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to align with students IEPs and learning goals
- Collect data to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviors
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Engage with families to share student achievements and address concerns
