Job Description

A Massachusetts-certified Special Education Teacher is needed for an elementary-level contract position in a public school setting located in North Billerica, MA. The role requires providing a combination of inclusion support and pull-out instruction to students, ensuring tailored educational strategies meet diverse learning needs within the classroom environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: North Billerica, MA
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Assignment Duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026
  • Grade Level: Elementary (general education setting, not a specialized program)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day, totaling 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification required
  • Experience supporting and instructing elementary students in both inclusive and pull-out settings
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support aligned with students IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion in the classroom
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
