Job Description

Located near Boston, this contract role focuses on serving pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students in a sub separate classroom setting. With a manageable caseload of 6 students and robust support from 4 program assistants and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll have the resources you need to make a meaningful impact every day.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
  • Previous experience or passion for working with early childhood or elementary-aged learners with diverse needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, nurturing classroom environments
  • Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and behavior management

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned to each childs learning plan
  • Collaborate seamlessly with program assistants and the BCBA to implement student supports
  • Track progress and maintain thorough records for each student's goals and achievements
  • Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and exploration
  • Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support student success
