Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid DESE license in Moderate or Severe Special Needs (required)
  • Prior experience working with high school students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage small group or individualized instruction effectively
  • Dedication to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs and accommodations for students in high school programs
  • Address the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with care and professionalism
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure student success
  • Engage regularly with families to discuss progress and actionable strategies
  • Create a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student engagement

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
