A part-time special education teaching opportunity is available for a math-endorsed educator serving K-12 students in a public school setting. The position is based in Framingham, MA, and offers a contract for the full school year. This role supports students with diverse learning needs, specializing in mathematics instruction aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license with math endorsement required
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including general education teachers, therapists, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized math instruction tailored to varied learning styles and needs within a K-12 classroom
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff to support student success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Schedule:
- Part-time, 2 days per week
- Full school year contract
