A part-time special education teaching opportunity is available for a professional with a math endorsement to support K-12 students. This role is based in Framingham, MA, and offers a contract position with a focus on delivering specialized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Utilize math endorsement expertise to provide targeted math instruction.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education license with a math endorsement.
- Experience teaching students across the K-12 age range.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
