Step into an impactful role supporting middle school students as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for educators passionate about delivering individualized academic support and fostering student success. In this position, youll collaborate closely with both general and special education teams to provide targeted instruction within a dynamic school environment.

What Youll Do:

• Deliver resource support across reading, math, and core academic subjects
• Develop and implement instruction aligned with students IEP goals, adjusting as needed
• Support learners in general education settings through co-teaching and consultation with staff
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation of student achievements and challenges
• Work closely with teachers and support personnel in planning and problem-solving
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with required documentation

What Were Looking For:

• Current South Carolina Special Education certification or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in a resource or inclusion classroom setting is preferred
• Strong ability to teach and engage students at the middle school levelboth academically and behaviorally
• Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in record-keeping
