This opportunity seeks skilled Special Education Teachers to provide specialized instruction and support in elementary and K-12 settings. Positions are available for a Behavior Classroom teacher at the elementary level and a K-12 Self-Contained classroom serving students with moderate to severe needs. Each role is designed to ensure effective educational experiences for students with diverse learning requirements throughout the full school year.

Locations: Blue Springs, MO and Raytown, MO Schedule: 35 hours per week Duration: Full school year contract

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri state Special Education teaching license is required
• Experience working with students requiring behavioral support or with moderate to severe needs preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and families

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver customized lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
• Maintain accurate documentation for student assessments, IEPs, and classroom activities
• Provide behavioral support and interventions to foster a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and team members to support student success
