Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid LBS1 and PEL required
- Previous work with students with Autism or functional/life skills programs preferred
- Familiarity with Unique Learning curriculum is a plus
- Strong communication, adaptability, and empathy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction to 9 students in a middle school intensive communications program
- Support students following a functional and life skills curriculum (including use of a mini-kitchen, laundry activities, and community field trips)
- Collaborate with two assigned paraprofessionals
- Manage classroom needs for students receiving Autism and intellectual disabilities support
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
