Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid LBS1 and PEL required
• Previous work with students with Autism or functional/life skills programs preferred
• Familiarity with Unique Learning curriculum is a plus
• Strong communication, adaptability, and empathy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to 9 students in a middle school intensive communications program
• Support students following a functional and life skills curriculum (including use of a mini-kitchen, laundry activities, and community field trips)
• Collaborate with two assigned paraprofessionals
• Manage classroom needs for students receiving Autism and intellectual disabilities support
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
