An engaging opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher in the North Billerica, Massachusetts area, supporting a 3rd-grade classroom within an elementary school setting. This full-time contract role runs through June 16, 2026, and focuses on providing a blend of inclusion support and pull-out instruction for students with diverse learning needs. The position offers a consistent weekly schedule and the opportunity to collaborate closely with general education staff to promote student success in an inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license
Experience working in elementary school settings, preferably with inclusion and pull-out models
Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
Provide both in-class inclusion support and targeted pull-out instruction based on student needs
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to support academic growth
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in alignment with district and state guidelines
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (ASAP June 16, 2026)
Work Hours: 6.5 hours per day, MondayFriday (32.5 hours per week)
