Job Description

A dedicated Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for an on-site, contract position in the Berwyn, IL area, serving students in a self-contained K-2 cross-categorical classroom. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching License (LBS1 or equivalent).
  • Experience working with early elementary students (K-2) in a self-contained or cross-categorical special education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a school team and maintain confidentiality.
