Qualifications:

• Hold a current Special Education Teaching license valid in Michigan
• Emotional Impairment (EI) endorsement considered a strong asset
• Able to work in the United States (work authorization required)
• Must successfully complete background check and drug screening

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction adapted to students IEPs and specific learning needs
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment for learners with diverse abilities
• Maintain timely documentation, progress reporting, and IEP compliance
• Provide behavioral supports and proactive classroom management tailored to student needs
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, supporting their social, emotional, and educational growth
